Yarn LookalikesFor any cat lover!
I will match your cat's fur colors and patterns as best I can, verifying each step through pictures with you to ensure a lookalike you love. Note that these are not hyper-realistic, and colors are approximate. Single-color lookalikes are $35. Simple two-color patterns are $55. More complicated designs go up from there (please use the form below for a quote on your cat). |
Fur MemorialsBest for aging felines or those who happened to collect their cat’s fur before their passing.
Partnering with local small businesses, I’ll have your cat’s fur spun into yarn that I then crochet into a tiny replica of your kitty. Just send me the fur and some reference pictures, and I’ll create a mini that’s a real piece of the kitty you love. Longhair fur works best, but I can work with any length fur. To make a single-colored mini, I need at least 1oz of fur (you can measure with a kitchen scale). This equates to about a quart-sized ziplock stuffed with fur. More is better, but I can incorporate any amount of fur, even if all you have is a small cutting. The rest will be supplemented with wool or other fibers. Ash MemorialsBest for those who only have ashes or wish to include ashes with a fur or yarn lookalike memorial.
I can incorporate ashes into both fur and yarn minis. Simply send me about an ounce or two of ashes and some reference photos of your furbaby, and I’ll crochet a mini replica with the ashes tucked inside. I double-bag the ashes to ensure no leaks, and I’ll attempt to match your cat’s patterns as best I can. I will return any unused ashes. Ash memorials start at about $55 for a single-colored mini. WhiskersBest for those who happen to collect fallen whiskers.
I can include whiskers on any custom mini! I prefer six whiskers if you have them, but I can incorporate as many as you have. Never cut or attempt to pluck your cat’s whiskers. Whiskers are attached to nerve endings so this can be very painful for your kitty. However, they naturally fall out regularly, so you can easily collect them without harm. I only accept naturally fallen whiskers and will refuse any order where I suspect a cat was harmed in obtaining them. Whiskers can be added to your custom mini for $30. |

Lookalikes at any ageYour kitty doesn’t have to have crossed the rainbow bridge yet to order a fur or yarn mini. After all, I traveled with two minis of our kitties while they were both still alive and well!
